App blocked

Pay the toll
to scroll.

FitToll blocks the apps you doomscroll. To open one, you do push-ups or squats in front of your camera, and it counts them. There is no skip button.

Download on iOS Android testers

Free to download. Both exercises included.

How the gate works

Choose

Pick the apps you keep losing time to. Instagram, TikTok, whatever yours are.

Open

Tap one and FitToll takes the screen before the app does.

Earn

Push-ups or squats, counted live by your camera. Half-reps don’t count.

Unlock

Hit the target and the app opens. The timer runs out, it locks again.

Why it can’t be cheated

The counting is the whole product, so it had to be honest.

It reads your joints, not your motion

On-device pose detection tracks real joint angles. Shaking the phone does nothing. Neither does waving at it.

Nothing leaves your phone

No video is recorded and nothing is uploaded. The detection runs locally, and it works in airplane mode.

The timer counts active use

Earn fifteen minutes and you get fifteen real minutes. Closing the app pauses the clock instead of burning it.

One bypass, and it costs you

There’s a single emergency bypass. Using it doubles the reps on your next unlock.

Three strictness levels, because your push-up and mine are probably not the same push-up.

Closed testing

Android

The app is built and working. Google’s production access needs at least 12 testers actively using it for 14 continuous days before they’ll review it again, so it’s in closed testing until that clears.

Join the testing group

Join the group, read the pinned post for the Play opt-in link, then install from the Play Store like anything else. Using it for a few days is the part that actually counts.

What it costs

Free to download. The free tier blocks one app and includes both exercises — push-ups and squats.

Premium blocks unlimited apps and unlocks longer unlock windows, at $5.99/month or $29.99/year.

Questions

Does it really detect push-ups, or can I fake it?

It reads your joint angles with on-device pose detection, so shaking the phone or waving at the camera does nothing — you have to do the rep. More on how that works in AI rep counter.

Can I skip the exercise?

There’s no skip button. There is one emergency bypass, and using it doubles the reps on your next unlock.

Does my camera video go anywhere?

No. Nothing is recorded and nothing is uploaded. Detection runs on your phone and frames never leave it. It works in airplane mode.

Which exercises can it count?

Push-ups and squats, both free. See the push-up counter and squat counter guides for camera placement.

Is FitToll on Android?

It’s in closed testing while Google reviews production access. You can join the tester group from the Get FitToll section above. iOS is live on the App Store.

What does it cost?

Free to download. The free tier blocks one app and includes both exercises. Premium is $5.99/month or $29.99/year and lifts the one-app limit.

How long does an app stay unlocked?

As long as you earned, counted in active use rather than wall-clock time. Closing the app pauses the clock instead of burning it.
